The Rose-Breasted Grosbeaks just arrived this weekend.
They usually spend a couple of weeks vacation
at my house every Spring.
Just call me "Beautiful"
This is his lovely mate.
They both didn't seem to mind my presence,
and patiently waited in a nearby tree this morning
as I filled the bird feeders.
They also willingly posed for a few more pictures.
How about a back view.
Oh, Oh, What's this?
Someone else checking out the feeders,
and in broad daylight.
No slinking in after dark.
This raccoon even washed his paws
in the birds water dish.
Just call me "TROUBLE"
Hope you have a Happy Day!

I am waiting for the Grosbeaks to show up here. They are so pretty. Your photos are fantastic, even the Racoon.
So glad they are visting you now.. We've had them here for about a week now... Hope they say AWHILE longer. They are such gorgeous little birds.
Great set of photos --but it shocks me to see a raccoon out in daylight. I've never seen one of them out during the daytime here....Yipes!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Grosbeaks are so pretty. I remember seeing them eating Pyracantha berries at my parents home.
Scary to see a raccoon in daylight.
I always enjoy your photos. Enjoy your afternoon.
I can't believe that raccoon LOL. I've only seen a raccoon in daylight once - he was sleeping up a tree :)
