over the Christmas and New Year's Holidays,
we slipped home between snow storms.
There was already about 5 inches on the ground,
and we are told to expect at least 10 inches today.
The blowing and drifting is yet to come
along with the sub-zero temps.
The picture above is the way it looks
in our backyard at the moment.
in our backyard at the moment.
These two little Titmouse
were sitting very still.
It looked like they were trying to escape
the snow for just a moment.
Below, all is quiet,
but the beauty of the softly falling snow
is very evident.
I guess it must be time
to refill the feeders.
Wishing you all a
Happy and Blessed
New Year!

Sweet, sweet little titmouse photos! I guess it's time to hunker down. The cold is supposed to come all the way down to us. (Love your header shot...so beautiful.)
Beautiful photos.. I love snow --but we haven't had much yet here. They say we will get some tonight --as the front goes through and as the temps go down to almost zero. Yipes!!!!
Stay warm. I will post tomorrow for the first time in a couple of weeks.
Hugs,
Betsy
Those snow covered trees look so beautiful.
Such exquisite photos. God bless you and yours in the new year.
Yes, the place covered with snow is a sight to behold! It must have been fun for you too to experience winter sports when you were younger. Oh those poor little birdies exposed to such cold! They are lucky because you provide them with food all the time!
