During some of the recent
really cold weather we have had,
it is common to see some of the birds
fluff their feathers in an attempt to stay warm.
A bird I see everyday -- The Tufted Titmouse
Another regular - The Downy Woodpecker
And the Red-bellied Woodpecker
Last but not least--One of my favorites,
The Carolina Wren

Beautiful photos. I have always enjoyed the Carolina wrens. They have such cute personalites. I often refer to them as "singy birds."
Oh,they do look cold.
Some of my favorite birds :-) They sure are fluffed up and trying to stay warm. This winter is so cold....I would hate to be a bird out there in these temps. You got some great photos.
