All Fluffed Up

During some of the recent
really cold weather we have had,
it is common to see some of the birds
fluff their feathers in an attempt to stay warm.

A bird I see everyday -- The Tufted Titmouse

Another regular - The Downy Woodpecker

And the Red-bellied Woodpecker

Last but not least--One of my favorites,
The Carolina Wren

HA HA --in that last photo it looks as if you have the little bird chained up!!!!!

Love your photos. We have the same birds here --plus our resident Bluebirds and Cardinals.

Hugs,
Betsy

Beautiful photos. I have always enjoyed the Carolina wrens. They have such cute personalites. I often refer to them as "singy birds."

Some of my favorite birds :-) They sure are fluffed up and trying to stay warm. This winter is so cold....I would hate to be a bird out there in these temps. You got some great photos.
