Getting Ready for Mother's Day

Over the last several years,
there have only been a couple of times
that I have seen Bluebirds in my yard.

The weekend before Easter,
I did see a couple of them hard at work
preparing a nest.

Getting those twigs to fit can be really frustrating!

Maybe going in backwards
will do the trick!

Much to my disappointment
after that Saturday I did not see them around.

But this last week,
this beautiful guy has been sitting
on a branch close to our feeders.
He always seems to sit on the same branch.

                          And the Good News is
"I have seen a bluebird go into the nest."
Maybe it will be a "Happy Mother's Day!"

Sounds like nesting is or will be happening at your yard.

They are so pretty! I have not had luck with a box for them. I need to try relocating it, I think.

Hi there, Just stopping by to say “Happy Mother’s Day” to you. I’m sure you are having a fabulous day. I celebrated yesterday when one of my sons and his beautiful wife came to see us….

As you probably know, we’ve been out-of-town this past week and I haven’t done any blogging much at all. I hope you enjoyed my two Tulip blog posts while we were gone——and be sure and tune in tomorrow morning to find out what we’ve been doing this past week….

Enjoyed your post today! How wonderful to have the Bluebirds and enjoy them while nesting... I love mine.

Hugs,
Betsy
