This youngster wanted to be fed.
"Aren't you ever going to feed me?"
"Oh, that was good."
"How about another bite?"
"Mom--Dad, where did you go?"
"Well, here goes--I think I can."
"I did it! I did it! It tastes so good."
"Mom, Dad, did you see what I just did??"

Hi Janice, These are great pictures. The little baby is cute as can be. That last photo is priceless.
Cute images and commentary. It often seems as if the baby birds are much like our children wanting hand out for as long as possible.:)
Adorable photos.. I love seeing the baby birds begging for food... The little House Finch is such a Cutie.. Love the 'fuzz' on top!!!!

Such a sweet post Janice, very nice that you got to witness this little bird's 'first bite' <3 I don't think there is anything sweeter than seeing a baby bird following mom and dad for food :)
Just me again stopping by to say HI. It's been so busy this summer and I didn't want to miss any of your posts... We have had a milder than normal July which I love --but who knows what August will bring us... ha
