Something New

Several days ago, I saw this little bird outside my window.  It was smaller than the usual Titmouse and Nuthatches that I usually see.  I did get a couple of pictures before it flew away.  Today I noticed the pictures on my camera and am trying to decide what kind of bird it is.  Maybe it is a female or non-breeding male Blue-gray Gnatcatcher.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm sorry, I don't but it sure looks beautiful. It's amazing that many bird species fly freely around your place. I live in a city and rarely find birds flying. Enjoying the rest of the week, Ms Janice! :)

I think you may be right about it being a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher. I was looking at my Sibley and the tail has that dark section in the middle that your bird shows and the rest of it looks like it, too. I'm not real good on that family. Was it snatching bugs out of the air? Cute little thing! You got good photos of it.
