Each Spring or early Summer we have some little visitors.
Often they come in the middle of the night to raid any remaining bird food and also to empty out my flower pots just in case a seed might have dropped in one of them. They also must take a bath in the water I have set out for the birds, because the next morning it is usually the color of mud.
Last night towards dusk my husband called me upstairs--Two babies were out on their own without their mommy.
"Wow! " Look at this place. I think we hit the jackpot."
"But...but...There's something big over there watching us."
"I think we need to go UP."
"I'm as far UP as I can go."
"Mom! We need help!"
"I'm tired....Maybe we should just take a nap till Mom comes looking for us."
"I smell something to eat."
"Oh, oh. There's that light flashing at us again."
"Maybe we can scare it off if we look like a "two-headed monster."
"How do we get out of here?"
"Could it be this way?"
"It's scarry, but I think DOWN is the right way to go."
"Here we go."
"Will Mom ever come to get us?
to Show us the Way to Go Home."
"We're Tired and We Want to Go to Bed."

Wonderful photos and they are cute critters but they sure are destructive! At the old house, we had a fox that would have little ones each Spring. It was fun to watch them play but not something we wanted to hang around indefinitely!!!
Have a very nice weekend.
Hilarious! They're pretty cute. Love the commentary.
Oh My---they may be cute, but oh what a mess they can cause. I take my bird feeders in at nights --and sweep up the crumbs.... Haven't seen them in awhile--but they'll be back. They are around here for sure, and so are skunks...
Cute pictures though.
Hugs,
Betsy
As troublesome as these guys can be they sure win in the cute category.
Such wonderful photos, fun to see your little narrative with them.
They're certainly messy, and yet somehow adorable : )
These are so cute! I love the little rascals, but wish they would go away from my deck. I laughed at that post shot...LOL! I got a similar shot years ago...they went up a post that went nowhere and didn't know what to do next. I guess the mom's turn them lose pretty early in life.
Adorable images and fun to see some cute juveniles. You could convince me they are adorable except for their persistence and the mess they make.
I would answer your comments in an email, if you provide an address. Lolly's was great, but like you I have trouble making a decision about what to buy with so much to choose from! We looked for other floral quilts but didn't see any. We went to several of the surrounding towns. We may go back before summer is over. You can delete this comment if you want since it isn't about your post.
