Last Sunday we were greeted by a flock of wild turkeys who were strolling through our backyard. I had heard a lot of squawking (I thought they were supposed to gobble) down in our valley previously and had seen them looking for food. I guess they decided to check out the higher ground.
If you enlarge the picture you can see all the beautiful colors in his feathers. He would be awesome to see with his tail feathers spread out.
